Putin’s birthday: the only possible gift is new indictments in The Hague

On Saturday October 7th 2023, from 3 pm to 5 pm, we will be in front of the International Criminal Court (ICC), in The Hague (Oude Waalsdorperweg 10) to show our support for the Court’s work and to demand that a new arrest warrant be issued with new charges against Vladimir Putin – the main instigator of the war crimes and crimes against humanity that are being committed in Ukraine – in order to quickly reach a fair trial.

History teaches us that there can be no Peace without Justice. After the large-scale aggression and invasion of Ukraine, following crimes in Chechnya, Georgia, Libya and Syria – as well as the illegal occupation of Crimea and the “proxy” war unleashed in Donbas since 2014 – the entire chain of command of the Russian fascist regime must be brought to trial. Not only for the deportation of Ukrainian children but for every crime committed, in Bucha as in Irpin, in Mariupol as in Bakhmut, everywhere in Ukraine: 103.000 crimes have already been identified by both Ukrainian and ICC investigators.

October 7th will be Vladimir Putin’s birthday and, not surprisingly, the anniversary of the assassination of Anna Politkovskaya, whose murder represented a “gift” to the head of the Kremlin. The only possible gift to give to Putin is new indictments in The Hague for him and the other members of his gang.

We ask every European political force, every association, every activist for human rights and freedom, to join us in this event.

Our wish for Putin is to see him in The Hague, on trial, as soon as possible. Register HERE to join us in The Hague.
