Lettera aperta del Primo ministro della Repubblica cecena di Ichkeria Akhmed Zakayev a Igor Boni, presidente di Radicali Italiani del 22 marzo 2023
Caro signor Boni!
Sono profondamente grato a Lei e a Radicali Italiani per il lavoro svolto nella raccolta di 10.000 firme da sottoporre alla Corte Penale Internazionale dell’Aja contro Putin, il criminale di guerra.Lei, personalmente, e Radicali Italiani avete dato un enorme contributo alla lotta contro il male chiamato “la Russia di Putin”, per il trionfo della giustizia.
Sono anche grato a lei e a Radicali Italiani per aver diffuso la verità sulla tragedia cecena. Un radicale, il giornalista di Radio Radicale, Antonio Russo, ha pagato con la propria vita per questa causa. È stato brutalmente assassinato dai servizi segreti di Putin nel 2000 in Georgia, mentre stava preparando un rapporto sugli efferati crimini commessi in Cecenia dall’esercito russo.
Sono sicuro, Igor, che anche il popolo ucraino, che ha subito un altro genocidio da parte dell’Impero russo, ti sarà molto grato.

To the President of the Radicali Italiani Party Igor Boni
Dear Mr Boni!
I am deeply grateful to You and to the Radicali Italiani Party for the work you have done in collecting 10,000 signatures to be submitted to the International Criminal Court in The Hague against Putin – the war criminal.
You, personally, and the Radicali Italiani Party have made a huge contribution to the fight against the evil by the name of “Putin’s Russia”, for the sake of triumph of justice.
I am also grateful to you and the Radicali Italiani Party for spreading the truth about the Chechen tragedy. One of the members of the party, the journalist of Radio Radicale, Antonio Russo, paid with his own life for this cause. He was brutally murdered by Putin’s secret services in 2000 in Georgia, when he was preparing a report on the heinous crimes committed in Chechnya by the Russian military.
I am sure, Igor, that the people of Ukraine, who suffered another genocide by the Russian Empire, will also be very grateful to you.God bless you! And good luck to you and your party.
